Results and Recognition
In addition to the individual hearts we have touched and minds that we have inspired to achieve their dreams, GRAD Cincinnati has demonstrated the following results and recognition for our schools and students:

• GRAD Cincinnati High Schools have been names Schools of Promise by the Ohio Department of Education.

• GRAD Cincinnati supports more than 1,400 students with college access services at GRAD Cincinnati High Schools.

• The Coalition for Community Schools presented the 2011 National Community School Award to Ethel M. Taylor Academy.

• Three of the four GRAD Cincinnati K-8 schools moved from academic emergency to continuous improvement on the Ohio Department of Education State Report Card.

• GRAD Cincinnati has identified more than $4.5 million in scholarships and financial aid for graduating seniors.

• GRAD Cincinnati awarded over $800,000 to students who successfully completed the requirements to earn the GRAD Cincinnati Scholarship.

• GRAD Cincinnati was a presenter at the Creating a Professional Online Learning Community for the American Federation of Teacher’s High School Educators in Washington, DC (June 2011).
